Another Montreal goalie who went toe-to-toe with his brother was the legendary Ken Dryden. On March 20, 1971, the Drydens were both on the bench when the Canadiens starter Rogie Vachon was injured and Ken was inserted into the game. Sabres coach Punch Imlach immediately tried to give his team a boost as they were trailing 2-0 by pulling his starter and putting Dave into the between the pipes. The Canadiens ended up winning the game 5-2.
