The List: Overweight athletes

Emanuel Yarbrough is so big, he makes other sumo wrestlers look tiny. A sumo world champ and judo fighter, he was dubbed the world’s biggest athlete by the Guinness Book of Record, once tipping the scales at his local junkyard (the only place that could handle him) at a whopping 780 pounds. Stricken with heart problems, Yarbrough tried to slim down with diet and exercise, eventually shedding more than 100 pounds off his enormous frame.
