A superstar won't be able to make a Sunday charge at the RBC Canadian Open.
Brooks Koepka withdrew from the event ahead of his final round with a hand injury, the PGA Tour announced.
Koepka, 36, was part of a six-way tie for the lead after shooting a 6-under 64 in Round 1. He followed that up with a second-round 68, but appeared to be in pain on the range before Saturday's round and fired a 2-over 72.
The five-time major champion is making his return to the Tour this season after spending time on LIV.
He's in the field for next week's U.S. Open, which begins Thursday at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y.
Koepka won the U.S. Open the last time it was contested at Shinnecock in 2018.
