Adam Hadwin is off to a good start in his bid to make a quick return to the PGA Tour.
Playing in his first Korn Ferry Tour event since 2014, the Canadian finished second on Sunday at the Panama Championship.
Hadwin was 6 under for 72 holes, two strokes behind winner Ian Holt of the U.S.
Hadwin, 38, was relegated to the Korn Ferry Tour this season after finishing 139th in last year's PGA Tour standings.
The Abbotsford, B.C., golfer skipped the first two events of the Korn Ferry Tour season before teeing it up in Panama.
The top 20 in the Korn Ferry Tour standings at season's end earn PGA Tour cards for the following season.
Hadwin won his lone PGA Tour event in 2017 and has more than $25 million in career earnings on the top tour.
Hadwin is scheduled to play at next week's Korn Ferry Tour stop in Colombia.
