Richard T. Lee might be saving his best for last.
The Canadian has the lead at the halfway mark of LIV Golf Indianapolis, the season-ending event for the professional league.
The Toronto native, who has played the Asian Tour for much of his career before earning a LIV card prior to this year, is 11 under through two rounds.
He is one stroke ahead of Belgium's Thomas Detry, Dustin Johnson of the U.S., and Laurie Canter of England.
Lee, 35, is 19th in the season standings.
The top 34 keep their cards, though the future of LIV seems uncertain league with the league no longer getting funding from Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund as of next year.
Lee tied for 36th at last year's RBC Canadian Open, his best career result on the PGA Tour.
