OBERWALTERSDORF, Austria — Jeev Milkha Singh shot an 8-under 63 Saturday, including an eagle, to lead the Bank Austria Open by four strokes.

The Indian has an overall 15-under 127 after the second round to equal the lowest first 36-hole score of this season’s European Tour.

“I am happy with the way that I have played,” Singh said. “I was bogey-free and holed a great long putt on the last for eagle.”

England’s Simon Wakefield shot 65 to go second.

New Zealand’s Mark Brown (63) and Australian Peter Fowler (67) shared third, trailing Singh by five strokes.

After rain cancelled play on Thursday, the tournament was reduced to 54 holes.
