Canada’s winningest golfer, Brooke Henderson, withdrew Saturday from the LPGA Tour’s Pelican Women’s Championship.

No reason was immediately given on the LPGA’s official media Twitter account for Henderson’s withdrawal.

Henderson had shot a one-over 71 in the first round, which was nine shots behind leader Maria Fassi.

The native of Smiths Falls, Ont., has 12 career wins on the LPGA Tour.
