GRAND BLANC, Mich. — Matt Hill won’t have to wait long for his next crack at the PGA Tour.

The 20-year-old amateur from Bright’s Grove, Ont., has accepted an invitation to this week’s Buick Open at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club.

Hill had originally been scheduled to play the Nationwide Tour event in Ohio along with fellow Canadian amateur Nick Taylor.

It will be the third PGA Tour event of the summer for Hill, who missed the cut at the RBC Canadian Open by two shots. Earlier this month, he finished 70th in his tour debut at the AT&T National after getting an invite from tournament host Tiger Woods.

Hill won the NCAA Championship in the spring and followed it up with a victory at the Ontario Amateur this summer.
