The Masters par-3 contest curse

The par-3 contest at the Masters has become tradition since its introduction in 1960, taking place the day before the opening round at Augusta.

Despite being open to the field, as well as “honourary invitees,” anyone seeking the Masters’ title might be wary of playing: no one who has won the par-3 contest has won the coveted green jacket in the same year.
