HUMBLE, Texas — Andrew Parr is about to get another taste of the PGA Tour.
The 24-year-old from London, Ont., shot a 6-under 66 on Monday to grab one of four qualifying spots in this week’s Shell Houston Open.
“Mentally, I haven’t played better golf than I am right now,” said Parr.
It will be the third PGA Tour event he’s entered. Parr missed the cut at both the John Deere Classic and Canadian Open last year.
He is a two-time winner of the Ontario Amateur and has played professional events on the Nationwide Tour and Gateway Tour.
