The newest edition of Golf Digest could end up being its high-selling ever, and it’ll have nothing to do with improving your swing.
Paulina Gretzky, daughter of The Great One and fiancée of PGA Tour player Dustin Johnson, graces the cover the magazine’s May issue.
“Sports figures, celebrities and models have appeared on Golf Digest covers since the magazine’s beginning,” Golf Digest Editor-in-Chief Jerry Tarde said. “Paulina ranks at the high end of the golf celebrity scene today, and she has a compelling story to tell. She also might get some new people interested in the game.”
Johnson’s last appearance on the cover was in the February 2013 issue. This season he’s third in FedEx Cup standings, has earned more than $3.3 million on the course and is currently ranked No. 10 in the world.
