Pettersen alone in lead at Manulife LPGA Classic

CAMBRIDGE, Ont. — Suzann Pettersen birdied her first two holes and has currently taken sole possession of the lead in the third round of the Manulife LPGA Classic on Saturday at Whistle Bear Golf Club.

Mariajo Uribe, who was tied with Pettersen after two rounds, sits in second place at 14-under par, while Brittany Lang, who won the inaugural Manulife Classic, and Laetitia Beck are tied for third at 13-under par.

Katie Burnett, Ilhee Lee, Pernilla Lindberg and Cristie Kerr, sit at 12-under par, while nine players are tied at 11-under par.

Alena Sharp, of Hamilton, Ont., is the top Canadian right now at 9-under par, while Natalie Gleadall, of Stratford, finished at 6-under par.

Quebec’s Sara-Maude Juneau is currently at 5-under par, while Sue Kim, of Toronto, finished at 4-under par.
