MANCHESTER, N.H. — Brandon Kozun and Tyler Toffoli both scored twice as the Manchester Monarchs dropped the St. John’s IceCaps 5-2 on Friday in American Hockey League play.
Anthony Stewart had the other goal for Manchester (22-22-5), while Martin Jones made 22 saves for the win.
Eric O’Dell and captain Jason Jaffray scored for St. John’s (21-27-3). Goaltender Mark Dekanich stopped 28 shots.
Both teams went 1 for 5 on the power play.
O’Dell opened scoring in the second before Toffoli, Stewart and Kozun quickly replied to give the Monarchs a 3-1 lead.
