Jets re-sign D-man Nelson Nogier to one-year, $700K contract

The Winnipeg Jets have re-signed defenceman Nelson Nogier to a one-year, two-way contract worth $700,000, the team announced Tuesday.

The 23-year-old suited up in one game for the Jets last season, recording nine points in 74 matches with the AHL’s Manitoba Moose.

The native of Saskatoon was selected by Winnipeg in the fourth round (101st overall) of the 2014 NHL draft.
