The Ottawa 67’s will be moving into a new arena for the short-term.
The 67’s will be playing their home games at Scotiabank Place during the next two seasons, according to Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun.
The team needed a temporary home arena while Lansdowne Park, which is a historic sports and entertainment complex in Ottawa, continues their redevelopment project.
Ottawa’s current arena, Civic Centre Arena, is located right in the middle of the redevelopment.
The Scotiabank Centre has 9,000 more seats than the Civic Centre but is a tougher location for 67’s fans to get to.
Ottawa owner Jeff Hunt is expected to address the media on Wednesday afternoon.
