Bulls’ Gaunce injures shoulder, out 3-6 weeks

The Belleville Bulls are expected to be without captain Brendan Gaunce for three to six weeks.

Belleville head coach and general manager George Burnett announced on Tuesday that Gaunce suffered a second degree shoulder separation during the Bulls’ 3-2 loss to the Sudbury Wolves on Friday.

Gaunce, 18, is second on the team in scoring with four goals and five assists in 11 games.

The Markham, Ont., native was drafted in the first round, 26th overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft in June.
