Calgary, AB – The Calgary Hitmen announced today that they’ll face the Regina Pats outdoors at Mosaic Stadium this fall in the Prairie Classic.
The Western Hockey League game in the Saskatchewan capital on Sunday, October 27 will be the second outdoor meeting between the two franchises who met eight years ago in WHL Outdoors at McMahon Stadium.
The February 21, 2011 date in Calgary set a Canadian Hockey League attendance record drawing 20,888 fans.
The Prairie Classic is part of Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Week which will also see a National Hockey League game between the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets the previous day on Saturday, October 26.
“We are excited and honoured to have the opportunity to participate in Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Week,” said Hitmen Vice President and Alternate Governor Mike Moore.

Tickets to the Hitmen and Pats outdoor game will go on sale August 29 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.ca. General seating for the event will be $18.50 which includes all fees and taxes.
