McDavid added to OHL Super Series roster

Connor McDavid has been added to the Ontario Hockey League roster for the 2012 SUBWAY Super Series.

The Erie Otters forward and Zach Hall of the Barrie Colts were added to the roster as replacements for Lucas Lessie of the Oshawa Generals and Brendan Gaunce of the Belleville Bulls, who suffered injuries recently and will not be able to compete in the event.

McDavid, 15, will become the youngest player ever to participate in event. He has compiled seven goals and 18 points in 15 games after Erie selected him with the top pick in the 20123 OHL Priority Selection.

Hall, 19, ranks fourth in the OHL in scoring with nine goals and 22 points in 13 games for Barrie. The Bellieville, Ont., native is in his third OHL season.

It will be the 10th year of the event, where the OHL has a perfect 18-0 record against Team Russia.
