London Knights forward Max Domi has been suspended four games for a hit to the head of Guelph Storm winger Brock McGinn.

Domi was handed a five minute major and a game misconduct on Sunday after delivering a leaping forearm to the head of the Guelph forward. The hit was in retaliation to a play that happened moments earlier when McGinn hit Domi along the boards and delivered an extra shot to his back when he was on the ice.

The Phoenix Coyotes first-rounder was playing in his first game with the Knights since being returned from the NHL. Domi led the Knights in scoring last season with 39 goals and 87 points in 67 games.

Domi’s suspension was one of four handed out by the OHL on Tuesday.

Owen Sound Attack winger Stefano Pezzetta was suspended eight games, Mississauga Steelheads winger Josh Burnside was suspended six games and Erie Otters defenceman Cory Genovese was suspended five games.
