HALIFAX — Jonathan Drouin scored once and set up four others as the Halifax Mooseheads crushed Acadie-Bathurst for their eighth win in a row.
MacKenzie Weegar and Brent Andrews each had two goals and an assist for Halifax (20-8-0), while Darcy Ashley chipped in with four assists. Andrew Ryan, Vincent Watt, Nikolaj Ehlers and Luca Ciampini added single goals to round out the Mooseheads’ offence.
Adam Stevens and Aaron Kerr scored for the Titan (10-14-2), who have dropped back-to-back contests, and Christophe Boivin assisted on both.
Halifax’s Zachary Fucale made 25 saves for the win. Jacob Brennan took the loss for Acadie-Bathurst after allowing five goals on 24 shots in 36 minutes of action. Mason McDonald replaced Brennan and gave up four goals on 10 shots.

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — Jerrome Verrier scored three times, including the winner at 19:19 of the third period, as the Drummondville Voltigeurs edged the visiting Shawinigan Cataractes 4-3 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
Verrier now has 21 goals in 26 games, which is good for fifth in QMJHL scoring.
Joey Ratelle also scored for the Voltigeurs (14-10-2), who halted a five-game winless streak. Matthew Boudon chipped in with two assists.
Kris Hodge had a goal and two assists for the Cataractes (3-20-2), who are winless in five contests, while Frederick Gaudreau and Zachary Taylor each scored once.
Louis-Phillip Guindon made 18 saves for Drummondville as Shawinigan’s Marvin Cupper turned away 34-of-38 shots in defeat.
The Voltigeurs went 1 for 5 on the power play while the Cataractes failed to score on their only chance with the man advantage.
