OHL Playoffs: Bulldogs push Frontenacs to brink with Game 3 win

KINGSTON, Ont. — Isaac Nurse scored the go-ahead goal in the third period and the Hamilton Bulldogs pushed Kingston to the brink of playoff elimination with a 3-1 win over the Frontenacs in Game 3 of their Ontario Hockey League conference final on Sunday.

Benjamin Gleason and Brandon Saigeon also scored for Hamilton, which leads the best-of-seven series 3-0. Marian Studenic added two assists.

Ryan Cranford had the lone goal for the Frontenacs, tying the game late in the first period.

Bulldogs goaltender Kaden Fulcher stopped 31 shots. Kingston’s Jeremy Helvig made 28 saves.

The Frontenacs host Game 4 on Tuesday.
