OHL Roundup: Berisha powers Knights over Rangers

KITCHENER, Ont. — Aaron Berisha scored twice to lead the London Knights past the Kitchener Rangers 5-4 on Tuesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Daniel Bernhardt’s goal 2:45 into the third period stood as the winner for London (32-7-3), while Victor Mete and JJ Piccinich also scored. Tyler Parsons made 36 saves for the Knights’ third win in a row.

Captain Ryan MacInnis scored and added two assists for Kitchener (30-7-4), while Gustaf Franzen, Connor Bunnaman and Dylan Di Perna also found the back of the net. Goaltender Luke Opilka stopped 24-of-29 shots for the Rangers.

The Knights did not score on their two power plays, while Kitchener went 1 for 5.
