OHL Roundup: Greyhounds offence dominates Wolves

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. – Bobby MacIntyre, Gustav Bouramman and Tim Gettinger all had a goal and two assists as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds hammered the visiting Sudbury Wolves 9-2 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League play.

Jack Kopacka, Hayden Verbeek, Gabe Guertler, Conor Timmins, Makar Tokarev and Colton White also scored for the Greyhounds (19-18-6) while Liam Hawel chipped in with three assists.

Ryan Valentini and Patrick Murphy struck for the Wolves (11-29-4).

Sault Ste. Marie’s Brandon Halverson made 35 saves for the win as Zack Bowman turned away 35-of-44 shots for Sudbury.

The Greyhounds went 4 for 6 on the power play while the Wolves failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
