OSHAWA, Ont. — Kenny Huether did it all for the Oshawa Generals on Monday afternoon.
Huether forced overtime with a power-play goal at the 18:37 mark of the third period then scored the winner as Oshawa rallied for a 5-4 win over the Owen Sound Attack in Ontario Hockey League action.
Huether assisted on goals by Anthony Cirelli, Stephen Templeton and Lukas Lofquist as the Generals (20-28-7) scored four unanswered goals to overcome an early 4-1 deficit. Jeremy Brodeur made 34 saves for the win.
Thomas Schemitsch had power-play goals less than two minutes apart as Owen Sound (24-19-10) built a commanding lead by the first intermission. Jacob Busch and Bryson Cianfrone also scored in the first period while Michael McNiven stopped 29 shots in net for the Attack.
Oshawa went 2 for 7 on the power play and Owen Sound was 3 for 5 with the man advantage.
All of the OHL games on Monday were afternoon matinees to celebrate Family Day in Ontario and Presidents’ Day in the United States.

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Mason Marchment’s goal at the 17:42 mark of the third period was the winner as the Steelheads outpaced Sudbury.
Nicolas Hague had back-to-back goals for Mississauga (28-24-4), while Sean Day, Alexander Nylander, Daniel Muzito-Bagenda and Josh Burnside rounded out the attack.
Kyle Capobianco and Ryan Valentini scored on the power play for the Wolves (15-35-4), while Michael Pezzetta, Mikkel Aagaard and Dmitry Sokolov also found the back of the net.

GUELPH, Ont. — Jake Marchment scored in each period — twice on the power play — to power Erie past the Storm.
Dylan Strome, Nick Betz and Vanya Lodnia had the other goals for the Otters (42-10-1).
Liam Stevens was the lone scorer for Guelph (11-36-6), which has dropped four straight.

HAMILTON — Matt Luff had a hat trick and added an assist as the Bulldogs held on for a win over Kitchener.
Niki Petti and Trent Fox chipped in for Hamilton (20-28-7).
Darby Llewellyn, Ryan MacInnis and Adam Mascherin all scored in the third period as the Rangers (37-11-5) mounted a comeback. Llewellyn had the first goal of the game in the first period as well.

KINGSTON, Ont. — Juho Lammikko scored three times — including a short-handed goal — to lift the Frontenacs over Barrie.
Ryan Cranford, Michael Dal Colle and Ryan Verbeek had the other Kingston (35-14-4) goals.
Andrew Mangiapane struck twice and added an assist for the Colts (34-17-2), while Anthony Stefano and Kevin Labanc also put the puck in the net.

LONDON, Ont. — Christian Dvorak, Aaron Berisha and Matthew Tkacuk scored third-period goals to rally the Knights past Flint.
Dvorak broke a 2-2 tie scored his 42nd goal of the season at 6:14 of the third just 1:17 after Nicholas Caamano made it 2-2 with his 18th of the season.
Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Mitchell Marner had the other two goals for London (39-12-3) while adding an assist.
Luke Kirwan had the other goal for Flint (16-31-6).

OTTAWA — Captain Mike Amadio scored twice — including the eventual winner — as North Bay slipped past the 67s.
Steve Harland opened scoring on the power play for the Battalion (27-18-8).

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Dominik Masin had the power-play winner in overtime as the Petes downed Windsor.
Greg Betzold and Hunter Garlent had two goals apiece for Peterborough (26-22-6). Adam Timleck also scored.
Christian Fischer and Brendan Lemieux both had two goals each for the Spitfires (31-17-6), while Luke Boka opened scoring.

SARNIA, Ont. — Matt Mistele scored his fifth goal of the game with nine second left in regulation to complete the Sting’s rout of Saginaw.
Ryan McGregor added two goals and an assist for Sarnia (32-15-7), while Patrick White, Kevin Spinozzi, Troy Lajeunesse and Ryan McGregor also scored.
Kris Bennett scored twice for Saginaw (20-29-6). Kirill Maksimov and Mitchell Stephens had the Spirit’s other goals.
