OHL Roundup: Joey Keane helps lead Colts in win over Frontenacs

KINGSTON, Ont. — Joey Keane’s goal 4:32 into the third period stood as the winner and the Barrie Colts downed the Kingston Frontenacs 4-2 on Sunday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Tyson Foerster, Tyler Tucker and Lucas Chiodo also scored for the Colts (3-3-1).

Jason Robertson had both goals for Kingston (2-5-0).

Maksim Zhukov kicked out 38 shots for Barrie. Ryan Dugas made 28 saves for the Frontenacs.

The Colts were 1 for 5 on the power play while Kingston was scoreless on three chances with the man advantage.

BULLDOGS 5 SPITFIRES 2

WINDSOR, Ont. — Ben Garagan broke a tie game late in the second period and Hamilton went on to beat the Spitfires.

Liam Van Loon, MacKenzie Entwistle, Liam Stevens and Matthew Strome provided the rest of the offence for the Bulldogs (4-2-1).

Cole Purboo struck twice for Windsor (3-3-0).

67’S 6 GREYHOUNDS 2

OTTAWA — Tye Felhaber scored two goals and set up another to lead the 67’s over Sault Ste. Marie.

Quinn Yule, Austen Keating, Kody Clark and Marco Rossi also scored for Ottawa (5-3-0).

Roman Pucek and Morgan Frost found the back of the net for the Greyhounds (3-3-1).

WOLVES 3 RANGERS 2 (OT)

KITCHENER, Ont. — Blake Murray scored in overtime as Sudbury edged the Rangers.

Darian Pilon and Kirill Nizhnikov scored in regulation for the Wolves (6-2-0).

Kitchener’s (4-0-2) offence came from Jack York and Riley Damiani.
