OHL Roundup: Kevin Hancock lifts Owen Sound Attack over Erie Otters

ERIE, Pa. — Kevin Hancock’s power-play goal 6:33 into the third period was the winner as the Owen Sound Attack edged the Erie Otters 2-1 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Daylon Groulx also scored for the Attack (14-10-3), while Mack Guzda made 21 saves for the win.

Gera Poddubnyi was the lone scorer for the Otters (10-15-1).

Daniel Murphy turned away 49 shots in net for Erie.

Owen Sound was 1 for 3 on the power play and the Otters were 1 for 4 with the man advantage.

KINGSTON, Ont. — Sasha Chmelevski put away the power-play winner as Ottawa rolled past the Frontenacs.

Noel Hoefenmayer, Kody Clark, Matthew Maggio, Tye Felhaber and Hudson Wilson rounded out the attack for the 67’s (21-3-4), who have earned a point in 21-straight games.

Paul Larabie and Jakob Brahaney supplied the offence for Kingston (7-19-1).
