SAULT STE MARIE, Ont. — Jack Kopacka scored twice in regulation and again in the shootout as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds edged the Sarnia Sting 6-5 on Friday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Morgan Frost, Tim Gettinger and Mac Hollowell also scored for the Greyhounds (51-6-4). Matthew Villalta made 37 saves in net.
Drake Rymsha led the Sting (45-15-5) with two goals. Cam Dineen, Franco Sproviero and Mitch Eliot also scored.
Aidan Hughes kicked out 32 shots for Sarnia.
Sault Ste. Marie went 1 for 7 on the power play and the Sting were 2 for 6 with the man advantage.

GUELPH, Ont. — Jalen Smereck scored 35 seconds into overtime as Flint upset the Storm.
Maurizio Colella, Jake Durham, Ty Dellandrea, Ethan Keppen and C.J. Clarke also scored for the Firebirds (17-39-5).
Isaac Ratcliffe had a hat trick for Guelph (27-25-8), while Keegan Stevenson and Mason Primeau also found the back of the net.
