OHL Roundup: Ryan Moore scores in OT; Bulldogs take 2-0 series lead


HAMILTON — Ryan Moore scored at 6:25 of overtime as the Hamilton Bulldogs downed the Niagara IceDogs 3-2 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League playoff action.

Hamilton also needed extra time in Game 1 to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven first-round matchup.

Matthew Strome and Brandon Saigeon scored in regulation for the Bulldogs, who got 21 saves from Kaden Fulcher.

Sam Miletic and Matthew Philip found the back of the net for the IceDogs. Stephen Dhillon turned away 47 shots in defeat.

Hamilton went 2 for 7 on the power play while the IceDogs went 2 for 9 with the man advantage.

The IceDogs host Game 3 Monday.
