OSHAWA, Ont. – Gabriel Vilardi scored a hat trick as the Kingston Frontenacs extended their win streak to six games, beating the Oshawa Generals 5-3 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.
Linus Nyman had a goal and three assists while Brett Neumann also scored for the Frontenacs (28-16-7).
Danil Antropov, Domenico Commisso and Matt Brassard scored for the Generals (25-24-3).
Jeremy Helvig made 21 saves for Kingston as Kyle Keyser turned away 27-of-32 shots for Oshawa.
The Frontenacs went 1 for 2 on the power play while the Generals scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
