QMJHL: Batherson and Armada beat Titan in Game 4 to even series

The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada beat the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 5-1 to even the series at 2-2.

BATHURST, N.B. — The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada are returning home for Game 5 of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final even at two game apiece with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

Drake Batherson scored twice as Blainville-Boisbriand downed Acadie-Bathurst 5-1 on Wednesday in Game 4 of the best-of-seven final.

Alexander Katerinakis, Anthony Poulin and Luke Henman also scored for the Armada, who host Game 5 on Friday.

Batherson leads all skaters in the QMJHL playoffs with 31 points in 20 games.

Adam Holwell was the lone scorer for the Titan.

Emile Samson turned aside 24 shots for Blainville-Boisbriand as Evan Fitzpatrick made 20 saves for Acadie-Bathurst.

The Armada went 0 for 5 on the power play while the Titan scored once on three chances with the man advantage.
