CHARLOTTETOWN — Nikita Alexandrov scored two goals and set up another as the Charlottetown Islanders doubled up the Shawinigan Cataractes 6-3 on Friday for their third straight Quebec Major Junior Hockey League win.
Daniel Hardie and William Sirman had a goal and two assists apiece for Charlottetown (6-5-1) and Keith Getson and Derek Gentile also scored.
Jeremy Manseau, Jan Drozg and Mavrick Bourque scored for the Cataractes (3-8-0).
Islanders goaltender Matthew Welsh stopped 19 shots.
Lucas Fitzpatrick started for Shawinigan and allowed five goals on 34 shots through 49:50. Antoine Coulombe stopped 3-of-4 shots the rest of the way.
