SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Daniel Hardie scored two goals and set up three more to power the Charlottetown Islanders in a 10-4 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Hunter Drew and Keith Getson also scored twice for Charlottetown (10-5-1), which stretched its winning streak to seven straight. Nikita Alexandrov, Thomas Casey and Derek Gentile added singles and Kevin Gursoy chipped in with four assists.

Brady Burns, Nicholas Deakin-Poot, Anthony Boucher and Yohan Plamondon replied for the Sea Dogs (2-11-3), who are winless in seven games.

Islanders goaltender Matthew Welsh stopped 28 shots.

Saint John’s Alex D’Orio allowed all 10 goals on 36 shots through 54:53. Tommy DaSilva made nine saves the rest of the way.

The Sea Dogs were 3 for 5 on the power play and didn’t take a penalty throughout the game.
