BATHURST, N.B. — Adam Holwell had a goal and three assists as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan downed the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles 6-1 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Antoine Morand scored once and tacked on two helpers for the Titan (14-7-5) with Liam Murphy, Jordan Maher, Justin Ducharme and Samuel L’Italien supplying the rest of the offence.
Peyton Hoyt replied for Cape Breton (12-11-2).
Joseph Murdaca kicked out 33 shots for the win in net as Kevin Mandolese made 34 saves in defeat.
Acadie-Bathurst went 1 for 5 on the power play while the Screaming Eagles were scoreless on four attempts.

CHARLOTTETOWN — Nikita Alexandrov scored the winner 27 seconds into overtime to lift the Islanders over Halifax.
Pierre-Olivier Joseph found the back of the net at 19:52 of the third period to force extra time for Charlottetown (14-8-1). Sam King had the other and Matthew Welsh made 31 saves.
Otto Somppi and Maxime Fortier opened the scoring in the first period for the Mooseheads (14-7-4). Alexis Gravel kicked out 31 shots in defeat.

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Xavier Simoneau had the winner in overtime and added three assists to lift Drummondville over the Tigres.
