SHAWINIGAN, Que. – Nicolas Roy had a goal and four assists as the Chicoutimi Sagueneens beat the Shawinigan Cataractes 6-2 on Friday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Frederic Allard added a goal and two assists for the Sagueneens (21-19-7). Taylor Cooper, Zachary Lavigne, Dmitry Zhukenov and Jake Smith rounded out the attack.
Jonathan Deschamps and Cavan Fitzgerald found the back of the net for Shawnigan (31-13-3).
Julio Billia turned away 22 shots for the win in net as Philippe Cadorette made 24 saves in defeat.
Chicoutimi converted on three of its seven power play attempts while the Cataractes were 1 for 4.

CHARLOTTETOWN — Samuel Blais had a pair of goals as the Islanders doubled up Cape Breton.
