SYDNEY, N.S. — Giovanni Fiore scored two goals and set up another and eight other skaters found the back of the net as the Screaming Eagles trounced Baie-Comeau.

Loik Leveille, Evgeny Svechnikov and Michael Joly had a goal and two assists apiece for Cape Breton (26-22-6), and Phelix Martineau, Dillon Boucher, Clark Bishop, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and Massimo Carozza rounded out the attack.

Jacob Garon Landry had a goal and an assist for the Drakkar (8-39-3), who have lost six straight. Jordan Martel and Vincent Deslauriers also scored.

ARMADA 4 PHOENIX 3

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Joel Teasdale scored 58 seconds into overtime to lift the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada to a 4-3 victory over the Sherbrooke Phoenix on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Jan Dufek tied the game 16:31 into the third period. Brendan Hamelin and Pascal Corbeil also scored for the Armada (20-25-7).

Skylar Strumas, Kevin Gilbert and Anthony Chapados replied for Sherbrooke (20-25-7).

Samuel Montembeault made 28 saves for the win. Evan Fitzpatrick stopped 27 shots in the losing effort.

Blainville-Boisbriand was 1 for 4 on the power play while the Phoenix failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

SEA DOGS 7 ISLANDERS 2

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Adam Marsh scored twice and Mathieu Joseph had a goal and two assists to power the Sea Dogs past Charlottetown.

Joe Valeno, Nathan Noel, and Sam Povorozniouk had a goal and a helper apiece for Saint John (33-14-4). Samuel Dove-McFalls also scored while Matt Murphy chipped in with two assists.

Bradley Kennedry had both goals for the Islanders (23-24-7).

OLYMPIQUES 6 MOOSEHEADS 0

GATINEAU, Que. — Mathiey Bellemare stopped all 19 shots he faced as the Olympiques shut out Halifax.

Alex Dostie and Chiwetin Blacksmith scored two goals apiece for Gatineau (35-15-3). Yakov Trenin and Alexandre Alain also found the back of the net.

Eric Brassard made 35 saves for the Mooseheads (17-31-6).

TIGRES 7 REMPARTS 4

VICTORIAVILLE, Que. — Alexandre Goulet struck twice in a seven-goal third period as the Tigres routed Quebec for their fifth straight victory.

Joey Sansoni, Felix Lauzon, Mathieu Ayotte, Kyle Tibbo and Mario Huber, into an empty net, also scored in the third for Victoriaville (26-19-7), which rallied from a 4-0 deficit. Pascal Laberge chipped in with three assists.

Alexandre Sills had two goals for the Remparts (24-23-5), who extended their losing streak to four games. Bronson Beaton and Derek Gentile had the others.

Tigres winger Marc Beckstead received a game misconduct for checking to the head in the second period.

OCEANIC 5 VOLTIGEURS 2

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Samuel Laberge had two goals and a helper to lead the Oceanic over Drummondville.

Antoine Dufort-Plante added a goal and an assist for Rimouski (29-18-5), while Deven St-Hilaire and Carson MacKinnon supplied the rest of the offence.

Michael Carcone scored both goals for the Voltigeurs (23-28-2).
