QMJHL: Wildcats take commanding 3-1 lead

MONCTON, N.B. — Red-hot goaltender Nicola Riopel made 34 saves for his third post-season shutout Wednesday as the Moncton Wildcats beat the Drummondville Voltigeurs 4-0 and moved within a win of reaching the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League final.

The Wildcats lead the best-of-seven semifinal 3-1. Game 5 is Friday in Drummondville, Que.

Gabriel Bourque scored twice while Mark Barberio and Cole MacMillan also had goals for Moncton.

Jake Allen made 35 saves for Drummondville.
