EDMONTON – Kristians Rubins scored in overtime as the Medicine Hat Tigers subdued the Edmonton Oil Kings 4-3 on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.
Ryan Jevne, Dalton Gally and Josh Williams scored in regulation time for the Tigers (25-19-5). Jordan Hollett made 27 saves.
Colton Kehler, David Kope and Tomas Soustal supplied the offence for Edmonton (13-27-7). Josh Dechaine turned away 36 shots for the Oil Kings (13-27-7).
Medicine Hat went 1 for 5 on the power play and Edmonton was 1 for 2 with the man advantage.

ROCKETS 4 HURRICANES 3 (OT)
LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — Kole Lind scored twice, including the overtime winner, as Kelowna edged the Hurricanes.
Kaedan Korczak and Carsen Twarynski also scored for the Rockets (30-14-3).
Jadon Joseph, Jordy Bellerive and Igor Merezhko all had goals for Lethbridge (22-21-5).

REGINA — Cameron Hebig had a pair of goals as the Pats routed Saskatoon.
Jesse Gabrielle’s power-play goal near the midway point of the game for Regina (25-20-5), while Josh Mahura, Libor Hajek, Nick Henry and Jared Legien also scored.
Max Gerlach struck twice for the Blades (23-23-3) and Chase Wouters added a goal.
Saskatoon’s Evan Fiala was given a match penalty for cross checking at 14:29 of the second period.

LANGLEY, B.C. — Dawson Weatherill made 31 saves as Spokane blanked Vancouver.
Kailer Yamamoto scored twice for the Chiefs (26-19-3) and Zach Fischer had the opening goal 1:03 into the first period. Luke Toporowski and Hudson Elynuik also scored for Spokane.
David Tendeck stopped 23-of-27 shots in the first two periods for the Giants (25-16-7). Trent Miner turned aside 14-of-15 shots in relief.
