WHL Roundup: Parker Aucoin scores twice as Americans beat Oil Kings

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Parker Aucoin scored twice and Kyle Olson had a goal and three assists as the Tri-City Americans defeated the Edmonton Oil Kings 6-4 on Tuesday in Western Hockey League action.

Isaac Johnson had a goal and two helpers for Tri-City (3-2-0) and Nolan Yaremko and Riley Sawchuk rounded out the offence.

Vince Loschiavo led the Oil Kings (5-3-1) with a pair of goals. Jacson Alexander and Ethan Cap had the others and Carter Souch chipped in with three assists.

Americans goaltender Beck Warm made 25 saves.

Boston Bilous started for Edmonton and allowed three goals on four shots in 6:41. Dylan Myskiw stopped 26-of-28 attempts the rest of the way.

Tri-City was 1 for 5 on the power play while the Oil Kings scored twice on four chances with the man advantage.
