EDMONTON — Lane Bauer had a hat trick as the Edmonton Oil Kings scored six-straight in a 6-2 rout over the Regina Pats on Friday night in Western Hockey League play.
Brayden Brown, Luke Bertolucci and Dysin Mayo also found the back of the net for the Oil Kings (22-18-5). Tristan Jarry made 29 saves in net.
Adam Brooks and Austin Wagner answered back for Regina (26-15-3). Daniel Wapple started in goal but was pulled after allowing five goals on 14 shots in 23:10. Tyler Brown finished out the game, stopping 13 shots in 36:50.
Edmonton converted twice on four power plays while the Pats were 0 for 6.
ICE 5 RAIDERS 2
PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Luke Philip scored his second of the game, and the first of four third-period goals, as Kootenay cooled off the Raiders.
Ryan Chynoweth, Jaedon Descheneau and Zak Zborosky also had goals for the Ice (22-21-1).
Matteo Gennaro and Simon Stransky found the back of the net for Prince Albert (19-24-1). The Raiders entered the game winning their last three games.

SASKATOON — Nolan Reid scored his first of the season midway through the third period and it stood as the winner as the Blades edged No. 7 Medicine Hat.
Brett Stovin led the Saskatoon (11-29-3) offence with a pair of goals. Cameron Hebig and Sam McKechnie also chipped in.
Tyler Lewington, Matt Bradley, Dryden Hunt and Trevor Cox supplied the offence for the Tigers (29-12-2).

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. — Landon Bow kicked out all 24 shots he faced as the Broncos blanked Moose Jaw.
Glenn Gawdin scored a pair of goals for Swift Current (21-19-5). Brett Lernout, Jay Merkley and Jake DeBrusk also scored.
Zach Sawchenko started in goal for the Warriors (18-24-4), stopping 28-of-32 shots in 40 minutes of play. Brody Willms finished out the game and made 12 saves.

BRANDON, Man. — Tim McGauley had a five-point night — including two goals — as the No. 3 Wheat Kings topped Lethbridge.
Peter Quenneville and Morgan Klimchuk also had a pair of goals each for Brandon (32-9-4). Braylon Shmyr and Reid Duke added the others.
Tyler Wong, Andrew Nielsen, Giorgio Estephan, Ryley Lindgren and Mike Winther supplied the offence for the Hurricanes (10-26-6).

RED DEER, Alta. — Austin Carroll scored the winner in the seventh round of the shootout as Victoria slipped past the Rebels.
Greg Chase had the lone goal for the Royals (23-19-3) 57 seconds into the first period. It was their third-straight win.
Brooks Maxwell scored his 14th of the season for Red Deer (25-14-6). The Rebels entered the game having won the last five in a row.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Chase De Leo scored the only goal in the shootout and added another in regulation as Portland edged the Cougars.
Paul Bittner and Miles Koules also had goals for the Winterhawks (24-19-3).
Chase Witala, Tyler Mrkonjic and Josh Connolly provided the offence for Prince George (20-23-2).

KELOWNA, B.C. — Roberts Lipsbergs and Scott Eansor had late goals in the first period as Seattle downed the No. 2 Rockets.

EVERETT, Wash. — Dawson Leedahl opened the scoring 28 seconds into the first period as the Silvertips cruised past Spokane.
Patrick Bajkov, Matt Fonteyne and Jake Mykitiuk also had first-period goals for No. 10 Everett (27-12-4). Remi Laurencelle rounded out the scoring on the power play as the Silvertips won their third straight.
Markson Bechtold, Adam Helewka and Curtis Miske scored for the Chiefs (23-16-4).
