Aaron Rodgers would buy an NHL team if he wins the Powerball

Here's a few funny moments from Packers' Aaron Rodgers celebrity jeopardy victory.

Could the Carolina Hurricanes have their new owner?

According to ESPN, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers already has a plan for what he’d do should he win the Powerball lottery’s $1.5-billion grand prize.

“I’d buy an NHL team,” he said.

Rodgers is currently the highest-paid player in the NFL, earning $22 million per season.

He was still unable to avoid catching Powerball fever, as the jackpot has soared to a record-high.

“I mean, why not?” Rodgers said. “C’mon, everybody’s got the same opportunity, right? One in 292 million, or billion? Yeah, I’ve got my tickets.”

The last NHL team to be bought was the Arizona Coyotes in 2013 for $225 million.
