Dallas Stars forward Ales Hemsky left Tuesday night’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets after blocking a shot from Blue Jackets defenceman Fedor Tyutin and will not return.

With just over five minutes remaining in the second period, Tyutin took a one-timer off a faceoff, which went right into the legs of Hemsky.

Hemsky went down and took a while to get up, though we was able to skate off the ice on his own.

In 36 games this season, Hemsky has three goals and 10 assists.
