Aliens exist, or it at least can’t be ruled out, according to the Vegas Golden Knights.
With #StormArea51 — a Facebook event that led to several thousand people showing up Friday to raid the highly classified U.S. Air Force facility to “see them aliens” — sweeping the state of Nevada, the hockey team also got in on the action, swapping their helmets for tin foil hats.
The club held a paranormal practice and encouraged fans to wear alien costumes with the best-dressed believer being awarded an Area 51 Golden Knights jersey.

A number of the players also channelled Tom Delonge — the former Blink 182 guitarist and founder of To The Stars Academy, an organization that studies UFOs and extraterrestrial life — speculating on the existence of aliens and whether they’re at Area 51.
Brandon Pirri said it doesn’t pass the smell test.
“There’s something there. Why won’t they let you tour the place?” he said, per the Las Vegas Sun’s Justin Emerson.
Golden Knights power forward Alex Tuch, meanwhile, didn’t hold back.
“I think we should be more working side-by-side with them instead of keeping them captive,” Tuch said.
Aliens exist, but there are none at Area 51 — at least that are alive, said defenceman Nate Schmidt.
“There’s no live ones. Ever see Independence Day? That’s a factual movie,” said Schmidt.
You can’t rule it out, said star winger Jonathan Marchessault.
“I don’t follow that at all. You never know though,” Marchessault said.
The truth is out there — literally — it was out there in the area, coach Gerard Gallant smartly pointed out after the practice.
“Yeah for sure. I’ve seen a couple in the stands,” he said.
