Avalanche re-sign Duncan Siemens to one-year deal

The Colorado Avalanche have signed defenceman Duncan Siemens to a one-year contract, the team announced Tuesday.

Siemens had two goals and seven points in 73 games in AHL San Antonio this past season, and appeared in three games with the Avalanche.

The 23-year-old was the 11th-overall pick of the 2011 NHL Draft and has 24 points (four goals, 20 assists) in 229 career AHL games.
