Colorado Avalanche forward Joonas Donskoi was ruled unfit to play against the Arizona Coyotes, the team confirmed Friday.

Donskoi was initially a late scratch for Game 2 of Colorado’s best-of-seven series before the unfit to play reasoning was provided.

No further details about why he is not participating were made available by the team at this time.

The 28-year-old picked up an assist and logged 14:16 of ice time in the series’ first game, extended his personal point streak to three games.

During the regular season, he scored 16 goal and 33 points in 65 contests.
