Sportsnet.ca — Rangers star Sean Avery’s name and phone number was found among a list of clients of a Manhattan escort service, according to The New York Daily News.
The paper said Avery’s name and private cell number are among 2,000 in the little black book of Manhattan madam Kristin Davis.
Avery, 27, denied the accusation.
Davis, 32, was arrested this week and charged with running a high-end prostitution ring that raked in millions with hookers in New York, California and Pennsylvania.
According to the report, Avery was a client of Maison de L’Amour, the madam’s mid-range prostitution service, which sent women to Manhattan hotels on US$500 dates.
