Beau Bennett to miss 4-6 weeks after hit from Oshie

Pittsburgh Penguins winger Beau Bennett is expected to miss four to six weeks with an upper-body injury.

Bennett took a hard hit from T.J. Oshie in the first period of Monday night’s loss to the Washington Capitals. He left the game and did not return.

Bennett has had numerous injuries throughout his short career, as the 24-year-old has yet to play more than 49 games in a single NHL season.

He already missed five games in October after hurting himself celebrating a goal he scored.

Bennett has five goals and five assists in 24 games this year.
