Blackhawks send prospect Nathan Noel to Flyers for T.J. Brennan

The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired defenceman T.J. Brennan from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for forward Nathan Noel.

Brennan, 30, has played in 53 NHL games since being drafted 31st overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 2007. He’s played 28 contests with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms this year, posting one goal and seven assists.

Noel, 22, was a fourth-round pick with the Blackhawks in 2016. He’s played eight games in the AHL, but has spent most of the season with the Indy Fuel of the ECHL, recording six goals and 17 points in 39 games.
