Blackhawks sign Henri Jokiharju to entry-level deal

The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Henri Jokiharju to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Jokiharju was the 29th pick of the 2017 NHL Draft and has spent the past two season’s with the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks.

The defenceman had 12 goals and 71 points in 63 games this season.

He added three goals and eight points in 12 playoff games.

The 18-year-old represented Finland at the most recent world junior championship.
