The Chicago Blackhawks have acquired defenceman Slater Koekkoek and a 2019 fifth-round pick from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for defenceman Jan Rutta and a 2019 seventh-round pick, the Blackhawks announced.
Koekkoek has recorded one point in nine games this season for Tampa Bay, while Rutta has tallied two goals and four assists in 23 games with the Blackhawks.
