The Columbus Blue Jackets will be without injured forwards Cam Atkinson and Alexander Wennberg for the next four to six weeks, the team announced Tuesday.

Atkinson suffered a fractured foot on Dec. 23 in a game against the Philadelphia Flyers. The 28-year-old has led Columbus in scoring in each of the past two seasons, and has recorded six goals to go along with seven assists in 2017-18.

Wennberg, 23, went down with a back injury against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Dec. 21. The native of Stockholm has scored four goals and added 12 assists this season.

Columbus currently sits in third place in the Metropolitan Division with 46 points. The Blue Jackets return to action Wednesday in a road game against the division-rival Penguins.
